You'd Think . . . .

You'd think if the press (specifically Associated Press) were in the process of writing your obituary, you'd open your eyes. In reading about this practice, I learned that it is quite common to write people's obituaries before they are dead.

Pre-writing obituaries may be a common practice to do for people who have lived their lives and were getting close to the end but for someone 26 years of age?

The person to whom I'm referring is Britney Spears, pop singer, songwriter, dancer, and last but not least . . . mother to two little boys. The Associate Press today announced that they were in the process of writing Ms. Spear's obituary.

It seems that someone who has sold over 83-million records would not lack for anything. The reality is that Ms. Spears has learned that things and people do not give true happiness and peace. The sad thing is that she doesn't know where to find the source of peace and happiness, and she's running out of things to try. I pray that God will send someone across her path who can help her find the way to Him before the AP's obituary is published.
