Day 3 - June 18, 2007 "Finally in Paris!"

After flying from Newark all night, we landed in at Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris. I had no trouble getting through security!! Praise the Lord! We immediately went to baggage only to find that one of Randy and Kevin's suitcases did not arrive. After filling out paperwork, the authorities assured them that the suitcases would be delivered to our Hotel as soon as they were found.
Carole had made arrangements for a bus to pick us up at the airport on Sunday but they could not reschedule due to a big air show in Paris. Thank the Lord, there were two vans available to take us all to the Hotel. The driver of our van could not speak English but he sure could drive! He had to know how to drive in order to survive the traffic of Paris. It was unbelievable!! As you can in the photo below, motorcyclist make their own lanes!

After a trill-filled ride that would rival any Six Flags adventure, we arrived at Hotel de la Motte Picquet.
