Update on my Dad!!!

(My dad, Jerry Larpenter, and my youngest daughter, Rachel Anne - photo taken 1996)
My dad was diagnosed with Leukemia almost two years ago. There are three type of treatment for his type of cancer, and he'd already tried two types with not results. The third and last treatment is an answer to prayer!! Since being on it, dad's blood has risen each week instead of dropping. Today he went to have it checked and it was 12.6, the highest is has been in over two years!
We are praising the Lord for this miracle. Dad turned 78 years old August 13, and we're thanking the Lord for giving us another year with dad.

Hello Beth: I doubt you could remember me since you were still so young the last time I saw you. My name is Rita Dietrich-Gill. My family and I went to the Nazarene Church in Natchitoches where your Dad was a member for so many years. Jerry has been my Sunday School teacher and my gold standard for what a Christian is...as well as your precious mother, Mary Jane. Thank you for sharing Jerry's progress on your website. I have bookmarked it so that I can check in on family news frequently. I thank God that Jerry is making such huge progress with his illness. Will continue to remember him as well as the entire family in prayer.
